Abstract
Cluster headache is a type of trigeminal headache with autonomic symptoms characterized by episodes of severe acute unilateral pain. Abortive and preventive treatment is difficult and often unsuccessful. Affected individuals are severely debilitated during crises and in their normal activities. The case of a patient with this diagnosis, who sought acupuncture following unsuccessful allopathic treatment, is presented.
