Abstract

We describe a case of breast milk concentrations of azithromycin, an azalide antibiotic, in a woman with postpartum bilateral tubal ligation incisional cellulitis. Azithromycin appears to demonstrate a time-dependent versus time-accumulation profile in breast milk. (AM J OBSTET GYNECOL 1994;170:1375-6.)
