Abstract

In contemporary time Nepalese legal system is hybrid in nature. Large portion of it has been derived from common legal system, some of the portion has been accepted from civil legal system and socialist legal system, and normative values of legal system have been adopted from religious legal system. Gradually, Nepalese legal system is in the process of modernization through technological changes and innovation. However, it lacks sufficient research and development and full implementation of existing legislation. Technical aspect of legal system is as strong as developed countries of the world whereas implementation part is comparatively weaker. Judiciary has sufficiently analyzed the principles and factual situation of the case in the form of precedence to provide justice. Moreover, legal professionals are focusing on quality service with specialization and hard work on behalf of requester. Similarly Notary Public profession has been increasing day by day. Additionally, Supreme Court has implemented strategic development in court management system. Other sector of legal system of Nepal also needs strategic development with strategic control point. COVID-19 has further established the truth to maintain technological innovation and application compatible to hearing system of the court in all over the world.
