Abstract

Abstract Homoeopathy is one of an increasing number of therapeutic approaches to health problems that are proving more popular with patients and some doctors. These therapeutic approaches are sometimes referred to as ‘alternative therapies’ but this depiction of them is too antagonistic and rejecting by allopathic medicine based on scientific rationalism. A preferable term is ‘complementary therapies’, which suggest their use alongside allopathic medicine.
