Abstract

This study examines the amount of agreement between preschool program staff and mothers of developmentally disabled children on the variables “child-rearing values” and “amount of parental program contact.” The findings indicate that although there is a high degree of consonance on child-rearing values, the two groups hold discrepant perceptions of the amount of parental program contact. Such discrepancies may be important indicators of mothers' level of program satisfaction.
