Abstract

Patients with post-implant D90≥140 Gy have a higher freedom from biochemical failure rate than those with D90<140 Gy. We previously reported that on PPI pre-plans, an increased number of seeds in the Inferior-Anterior (I-A) quarter and larger superior (S) margins independently predict for post-implant D90≥140 Gy. The goal of the current study was to determine PPI pre-plan dosimetric parameters that directly predict biochemical no evidence of disease (bNED).
