Abstract

A list of the essential topics about post-flood disaster inside academic libraries would help academic library staff better prepare students for semi-structured interviews with staff. An online survey questionnaire was distributed to academic library staff. 517 academic library staff responded to the topic questions. They found all the topics essential for students to learn prior to interview sessions with staff. However, four job roles exhibited statistically significant differences in their rankings (p < .05). Academic library staff should work together to provide resources on these topics to better prepare students for interview sessions with staff following a post-flood disaster inside a library.
