Abstract

Ten pedons were discovered in the soils of Al-Raranjiyeh located in the province of Babylon, within longitudes 44012′0" to 44030′0" east and latitudes 32012′0" to 32024′0" north. To the laboratory and make the necessary laboratory measurements on it. As the size distribution of the soil classes was measured, and then maps of the spatial distribution of these soils were drawn by means of the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) program As the results showed that these artifacts were distributed within different ranges, as the silt content was dominant in most of the horizons of the pavilions. As for the spatial distribution, the areas with a high silt content occupied the largest area.
