Abstract
As a consequence of the increasing incidence and prevalence of HIV infection, preschools are seeking help in developing and implementing nondiscriminatory policies. Pediatric nurse practitioners are in an ideal position to provide leadership in adapting preschool programs to meet the special health care needs of these children.
