Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to give a publisher's perspective on preparing educational psychology students for careers in educational publishing. I begin with a brief personal overview, followed by a description of educational publishing. Then, I describe the role of educational psychology students in publishing, provide some qualifications for publishing careers, and offer some recommendations.
