Abstract

By Lyapunov control, a scheme to prepare fractional quantum Hall (FQH) states of atoms which are confined in a lattice is proposed. We can realize a steady state from two types of initial states and the fidelity of state transfer can reach a high value. It is robust against uncertainties in control fields. The proposal can be extended to [Formula: see text] square lattice with more atoms, which provides us a feasible course to prepare strongly correlated quantum state for many-body systems.
