Summary

Introduction

The history of photo-voltaic began with the investigation of photo-effects on silver halides in 19th century. We have made an attempt to use sensitized ZnO films as light harvesting electrodes in photo-electrochemical cells. Different organic dyes were coated on hybrid ZnO-dcbpy and porous ZnO films, in the view point of fabrication of dye sensitized photovoltaic cells.
