Abstract
AbstractPolyamides 3–5 containing 1,2,4‐triazine rings in the main chain were prepared by condensation of amidrazones 2 with polyamides 1 containing α‐diketone moieties, with conversions between 10 and 87%. The thermal stabilities and the solubilities of the resulting polymers 3–5 were enhanced by the introduction of the 1,2,4‐triazine rings in the main chain.
