Abstract
Treatment of a vinyl resin with 9-BBN affords a polymer bound alkylborane that undergoes palladium-catalyzed Suzuki cross coupling reactions with a variety of aromatic, vinylic and aliphatic halides. The mild reaction conditions are compatible with several functional groups and allow carboncarbon bond formation at non-activated positions.
