Abstract
Charged particle beams have recently proved to be very useful for the analysis of lighter element impurities in diamond. In this paper we describe the successful development of sawing,polishing and cleaning techniques, as well as the diagnostic methods used to establish the suitability of the diamonds so prepared for tandem beam experiments.
