Abstract
The exfoliated ZnAl hydroxide sheets of LLDPE/ZnAl LDH exfoliated nanocomposite with 20 wt % loading of Zn3Al(DS) are dispersed in a disordered fashion in the LLDPE matrix. The thickness and the width/length of the individual exfoliated Zn3Al(DS) layers (combined with DS ions) are determined to be 1.5−2.5 and 15−20 nm, respectively.
