Abstract
La-doped Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 (PLZT) has attracted great attentions because of their potential applications in sensors, energy devices and other fields. In this work, PLZT nanowires (NWs) were prepared by electrospinning and calcination processes. With the aid of ultrasonic vibration, the PLZT NWs can decompose 97% of methyl orange dye within 160 min. The rate constant k of degradation is as high as 0.02 min−1. The transparent composite films can be achieved by mixing PLZT NWs and polydimethylsiloxane with the assistance of dielectrophoresis. When the content of PLZT NWs is 3%, the transmittance of the film reaches to 92.4%. The composite film also shows a good property for harvesting mechanical energy. Taken advantages of the excellent performance, the PLZT NWs can be widely used in the fields of environment and energy.
