Abstract

By varying the amounts of metal ions, ligands, and other reaction conditions, an organic complex with the central ion as indium metal was successfully synthesized through the solvothermal method and was characterized and analyzed. The fluorescence properties of the complexes were tested, which found that these compounds have good fluorescence properties. On this basis, we further applied the complex to fluorescence sensing and investigated its ion detection properties. It was found that the complex has high selectivity and sensitivity and can effectively detect Fe3+ ions.
