Abstract

Abstract Zeolite-templated carbon (ZTC) was utilized to prepare Pt nanoparticles as a support by using a simple impregnation method. The choice of a cationic Pt precursor led to the formation of highly and uniformly dispersed Pt nanoparticles on ZTC, which afforded high conversion in the catalytic hydrogenation of phenylacetylene.
