Abstract

In this study, a low-cost fluorosilicone copolymer superhydrophobic anticorrosive coating was synthesised, and the coating was prepared on the surface of copper-aluminium composite materials for power transmission by the most efficient spraying method in practical production. The structure and composition of the coating were analysed, the morphology and surface roughness of the coating were characterised, and the corrosion resistance of the coating was tested by combining surface water droplet contact angle (WCAs) and electrochemical analysis. The results showed that the WCA of the coating was up to 154.6°, and the corrosion inhibitory rate was up to 99.6%. This coating has a certain application value in anticorrosion measures for transmission materials.
