Abstract
The possibility of increasing the hydrophobicity of cellulose powder by treating it with hydrophobic TAS has been investigated. Effective TAS are paraffin and GKZh-94 polyethylsiloxane liquid; these reduce the bulk density of the cellulose powder and significantly increase its hydrophobicity.
