Abstract

2D MoS2/graphene heterostructures are prepared through a monolayer intercalation method, which can be widely used to prepare other 2D composite structures. The samples exhibit excellent passive Q-switching (PQS) and mode-locking (ML) performances in bulk lasers. A high repetition rate of up to 1 GHz is realized in the mode-locked laser, indicating that samples are reliable at generating stable ultrashort pulses.
