Abstract

This “study deals with fabrication, physico-chemical characterizations and thermal properties of AP25 nanocapsules as organic PCM (phase change materials) for TES. The influence of reaction temperature and stirring rate on the properties of phase change materials nanocapsules was studied using RSM method. The FESEM and TEM micrographs show that nanocapsules are uniform of spherical shape with core–shell structure and particle size. TEM results revealed that it is successfully acted as another protective screen to protect paraffin from leaking. The nanocapsules with phase change latent heat of 141.8 J/g at 27.4 C have a great potential for TES”.
