Abstract
8 hibridomas, which produce monoclonal antibodies (Mab) to pig Zona Pellucida antigens, were established° All Mab were IgG I classes of immu~oglobuline. Cross-reactions of Mab with pig, monkey and rabbit ova were investigated by IIFT. Using Mab to antigens of outer layer of pig ZP the fractionation of heat-eolubilized ZP was carried out by affinity chromatography. Fraction of specific purified ZP antigens was received. This fraction contained glycoproteins with molecular weight 68000. 6 baboon females were immtunized with preparation mixed with complete Freund's adjuvant. The titer of anti-ZP antibodies was 1:1000. All 6 females had normal cycles but no one became pregnant during 10 months of observation, Perspectives of birth control vaccines based on purified specific ZP antigens are discussed,
