Abstract

Thin films and foils of type II superconductors are important for two kinds of investigations: 1. Measurement of the angular dependence of critical fields and critical currents, e.g., information on B c3 [1], is obtainable only with thin films or with foils. 2. Verification of general relations between critical currents and magnetic inductions given by Dew-Hughes [2]. Pinning force density curves measured at different temperatures should coincide after an appropriate reduction.
