Abstract

AbstractCuP2 monocrystals of about 1 cm2 area are grown by crystallization from the solution in tin. The habit and the monocrystalline structure of the compound is investigated by chemical, X‐ray, and microstructure methods. Following semiconductor parameters are determined (at room temperature): Eg ≈︁ 1,4 eV, n = 7.5× 1017 to 8 × 1017 cm−3, α = + 800 μV/deg, and σ = 10 Ω−1 cm−1.
