Abstract

In this paper, core-shell structured Fe3O4@ZnO@YVO4:Eu3+ multifunctional nanoparticles with magnetic, luminescence, and microwave to heat responsive properties were synthesized by solvothermal method and precipitation method. XRD patterns showed that the hexagonal crystal system ZnO and tetragonal YVO4 are coated on the surface of Fe3O4 particles. TEM images showed that the obtained nanoparticles have obvious core-shell structure and spherical morphology and the size of the nuclear structure is between 30–40 nm. The diameter of Fe3O4@ZnO@YVO4:Eu3+ nanoparticles is about 50–60 nm, and the thickness of the shell is about 10 nm. The nanoparticles showed good luminescent properities, strong magnetic and unique microwave to heat responsive properties. And it has potential applications in targeted drug delivery and controlled release.
