Abstract

A low surface energy transmission line coating material is prepared and analyzed in this paper. Firstly, the super hydrophobic coating was developed and lubricated to obtain the super slip surface coating. Then, the resulting anti-ice coating was subjected to anti-ice performance tests and ice adhesion strength tests, respectively. Finally, the obtained results were analyzed. The results show that the developed anti-ice coating can greatly reduce the amount of ice covering, reduce the ice side force, and solve the problem of icing on transmission lines at low temperatures.
