Abstract

Ce3+ doped TiO2 thin films were prepared on ITO conductive glass by sol-gel method and dip-coating method using tetrabutyltitanate and glacial acetic acid as raw materials and adding cerium nitrate into cerium. The Ce3+ doped TiO2 powder was characterized by XRD, TG-DTA and SEM. The electrochromic properties of the films were tested by electrochemical workstation. The films were tested by UV-Vis spectrophotometer. Results show that the concentration of doped Ce ions is 2%, and the electrochromic properties of the films are improved greatly. The more the doping is, the more significant the effect on the electrochromic properties of the films is.
