Abstract

Objective To explore the measures of nursing intervention and prevention observing the influence of preoperative visit on patients undergoing radical mastectomy.Method 62 patients were randomly divided into two groups:observation group and control group,31 for each group.Observation group were given preoperative visit or communication,proper humanistic concern,and stress intervention,while control group received conventional care.Observed the changes of emotion,blood pressure,heart rates,and so on and complications in all patients.Results The blood pressure and heart rate of observation group before the operation did not obviously differ from the base value(P> 0.05),while that of control group revealeda remarkable rise(P < 0.05).Fewer complications happened in observation group than in control group (P <0.05).The patients of observation group were more satisfied than the ones of control group.Conclusion Preoperative visit can remarkably mitigate or eliminate the patients' emotional disorder,improve their mental health,reduce their postoperative complications,and promote patients' physical and psychological recovery.
