Abstract

Objective To investigate a new approach of fundus laser photocoagulation.Methods 35 eyes of macular branch vein occlusion in 32 cases with ischemic change were offered OCT-guided grid laser photocoagulation (GLP).Results the average visual acuity before GLP were 0.24,and 0.77 in 1 month after GLP,the difference was significant between pre-and post-GLP (t =6.41 × 10-20,P <0.00005).All the dysmorphopsia and impediment was lighten or fading.No severe post-laser complications occurred.Conclusion OCT-guided grid laser photocoagulation for macular branch vein occlusion has been shown to be a safely practicable approach in clinic therapeutics.
