Abstract

Quantitative measurement is a routine, defining feature of every clinical science except for psychiatry. Multiple research groups have shown that cross-sectional and longitudinal measures of speech and facial features predict common clinical measures and could supplement the classic mental status exam. Here, we report the feasibility of feature generation from longitudinal data collected in an active inpatient psychiatric unit.
