Abstract

X-ray diffraction (XRD) techniques have been used in various fields, such as, material science, medical science, etc. XRD gives the structure information of materials. An XRD imaging spectrometer equipped with a 2D X-ray detector for obtaining the information of a large observation area was developed in this study. A polycapillary half lens was applied as a 2D collimator to have an X-rays with a large collimated area of 8mm. The 2D diffracted X-rays were detected by a 2D X-ray detector.
