Candidates for resective epilepsy surgery should have verified intractable focal epilepsy in distinctive cerebral region with feasible surgical resection. Main goals of presurgical evaluation are to determine proper candidates for surgical treatment define eplieptogenic region and select optimal surgical technique with acceptable complication risk and good recovery after surgery.
