Pregnancy Rates Per Single Embryo Transfer According to the Number of Blastomeres in Day 3 Frozen-Thawed Embryos

Abstract

A previous study using mild ovarian stimulation of single fresh embryo transfer into women with diminished oocyte reserve evaluated the fertility potential according to the number of blastomeres of day 3 embryos. The clinical pregnancy rates per transfer were as follows: 4-cell – 3.8%, 5-cell – 9.5%, 6-cell – 38%, 7-cell – 40%, and 8-cell – 42.4%.
