Abstract

Objective To explore the pregnancy outcomes of varicella infected pregnant women.Methods The clinical data of 20 varicellainfected pregnant womenin Xixi Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang Chinese Medical University from March 2010 to February 2013 were analyzed retrospectively.Results Among 20 cases,2 cases were infectied in the first trimester,1 case was abort,and the other was cured and then bore a teratismus premature infant.Five cases were infected in the second trimester and cured to bear full-term healthy neonate.Thirteen cases were infected in the third trimester,of whom 7 cases were infected in 7 days before childbirth,and 2 of the newborns were infected and cured by active treatment.The rest of newborns were unaffected,and the parturients recovered good.Conclusions Early pregnancy patients with varicella if continued pregnancy,should pay attention to the malformation screening in the second trimester.For patients infected in 7 days before childbirth,should pay attention to the newborn prevalence and to give a positive antiviral therapy.
