Abstract
Dear Editor, we would speculate on the possible positive role of pregnancy on damaged cardiomyocytes in women who had suffered from acute myocardial infarction (AMI). In particular, in a small series of cases we observed an improvement of the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) after delivery if compared to that prior pregnancy.
