Abstract
Seven patients with kyphoscoliosis complicating pregnancy are presented. The incidence of this complication at the New York Lying-In Hospital is 0.01 per cent. The maternal mortality was zero and the infantile mortality, based on eight viable babies, was 12.5 per cent. The cardiac and obstetric physiology is discussed.
