Preface

Abstract

This issue of the Journal of Physics: Conference Series contains the proceedings of the 2022 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Power and Systems (ICIPS 2022). The conference took place in Chengdu, China during November 18th-20th, 2022 (virtual form), with the attendance of about 120 scholars, experts, researchers and scientists in related areas.The conference aims at creating an academic forum where current research results and technical advances can be exchanged and the development of intelligent power and systems can be promoted. For this reason, specialists and researchers in related fields have come from all over the world to present their research activities, and share ideas, experiences and future directions of the state-of-the-art fields related to power electronics and power system.To make this conference on schedule, we have a three-part plenary conference including a keynote speech part delivered by five speakers from different countries. Among them, Prof. Xia Lei from Xihua University, China performed a keynote speech on the title The Key Technologies of Coordinated Operation of an Interconnected Multi-Microgrid System. With the continuous development of MGs, the adjacent MGs can be connected to form an interconnected multi-microgrid system (IMMGS), which can further provide an effective technical means for the comprehensive utilization of multiple DERs. In the presentation, she discussed the key technologies of coordinated operation of an IMMGS, and presented their works with dispatch and transaction of an IMMGS. We are very optimistic that all participants will acquire new ideas and knowledge from this conference to enhance the capability toward power electronics and power system.We have received tremendous paper submissions from all over China and abroad. Through a rigorous peer-review process, all submissions were performed double blind review to check their quality of content, level of innovation, significance, originality and legibility. Based on the expertise review comments, some excellent papers were accepted and the corresponding authors were invited to submit their papers for final publication. The accepted papers included topics on: Electronic Devices, Power electronics in Aerospace Applications, Power System State Estimation, Energy Management for Microgrids, etc.We would like to thank the Conference General Chairs and the Technical Program Committees for the procedures that lead to the organization of this event, to our colleagues who contributed to its realization, to the members of the Journal of Physics: Conference Series for their patience while waiting for the final versions of the papers and to every author who has contributed with an article to these proceedings.
