Abstract

6th International Conference on Environmental Science and Civil Engineering (ESCE 2020) was successfully held in Nanchang, P.R. China from January 4th to 5th, 2020. ESCE 2020 was organized by Nanchang Institute of Technology, Civil Engineering Academy of Jiangxi Province and Hubei Zhongke Institute of Geology and Environment Technology, co-organized by journal of Rock and Soil Mechanics, Key Laboratory for Safety of Water Conservancy and Civil Engineering Infrastructure in Jiangxi Province, Jiangxi Provincial Engineering Research Center of Special Reinforcement and Safety Monitoring Technology in Hydraulic & Civil Engineering.ESCE 2020 proceeding is a collection of outstanding submissions in the field of structural engineering, construction engineering, geotechnical engineering, architecture and building materials, roads and bridges, tunnel subway and underground engineering, water resources engineering, and architecture and urban planning. 212 articles were selected from more than 500 submissions after peer-review, and authors participated in ESCE2020 with oral presentations and posters, promoting the communication among researchers and experts from institutes and universities, including China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research, State Grid Hebei Economic Research Institute, etc.Cordial gratitude is delivered to Technical Program Committee of ESCE 2020 for the professional work on guarantying the high standard of conference as well as the proceedings. We believe the proceedings will enhance the exchange of ideas and state-of-art knowledge on Environmental Science and Civil Engineering.
