Preface

Abstract

2019 International Conference on Applied Chemistry and Industrial Catalysis (ACIC 2019) is a significant scientific event, which was recently held in Shenzhen, China during November 15-17, 2019. This conference was held by several top universities in China, such as Xinjiang University and Zhengzhou University, and some provincial key laboratories. The theme of this conference is “Clean Production and High Value Utilization”. It brought together experts and scholars from the Chinese government, top universities, business associations, research centers and high-tech enterprises to discuss how to reduce environmental footprint at source and produce high value-added end products in chemical manufacturing. This conference is committed to building an enabling platform for the cooperation among the Chinese government, Chemical industry and scholars. The ultimate goal is to build a bridge between R&D results and the Chemical industry.We were honored to have Prof. Xianyong Wei from XinJiang University/China University of Mining and Technology, as our Conference Chairman, who is the High-level academic leader of XinJiang University. The Conference Vice-Chairmen consist of Prof. JianSheng Zhang, the Executive vice President of Qinghua University, Prof. Jianglong Yu from Liaoning University of Science and Technology, and Prof. Sheng Han, the Director of science and technology from Shanghai Institute of Technology. The conference program mainly included keynote speeches. We were thrilled to have excellent speakers Prof. Xianyong Wei from Xinjiang University/China University of Mining and Technology, China, and Prof. Linbing Sun from Nanjing Tech University, China to present marvelous speeches on Applied Chemistry and Industrial Catalysis, whose insightful talks gained continuous applause on site.We would like to express special gratitude to members of the conference committee and organizers of the conference. We would also like to thank all distinguished speakers, Chairman, and participants for their great supports. Finally, we want to thank the authors for submitting their papers, which were compiled to the Proceedings of ACIC 2019 and edited to meet the requirements of publication standard.
