Preface

Abstract

The 1st International Conference on Applied Mathematics, Modeling and Simulation in Engineering (AMSE) 2021 at Stanley College of Engineering & Technology for Women, Hyderabad, Telangana, India held during 15-16 September as a virtual conference due to the growing concerns over the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19), and in order to protect the well-being of our attendees, partners, and staff as our number one priority.The objective of this conference was to provide a common platform to engineers, practitioners, scientists and researchers across the globe for exchanging their knowledge and views to deal with global challenges. The theme of this conference was not only the fundamental technology in the field of applied mathematics and engineering science but also can change our society by exploring new horizons and continuous progress. A diverse range of topics from the neural network, digital image processing, machine learning, programmable logic controller, health care, IoT based systems, deep learning, lean manufacturing, abrasive flow machining, optical fibers, nano technology, applied physics, intelligent systems and simulation-based studies are featured in the conference.AMSE 2021 welcomes all high-quality research papers and presentations from related research fields. This scientific event brings together more than 500+ national and international researchers. On top of the local participants coming from different national universities, international participants are also registered from different countries, namely Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and USA. During the conference, the conference model was divided into three sessions, including keynote sessions, virtual presentations and online Q&A discussion.In total, 17 key note sessions delivered by professors and industrialists on cutting edge technologies across the globe during 12-16 September 2021. Every participant praised this conference for disseminating useful and insightful knowledge. The proceedings are a compilation of the accepted papers and represent an interesting outcome of the conference. All the papers have been through rigorous review and process to meet the requirements of International publication standard.AMSE 2021 received 575 manuscripts, and 83 submissions have been accepted. All accepted papers under the Journal’s Peer Review Policy were strictly selected based on originality, significance, relevance, and contribution to the area after being peer-reviewed. AMSE 2021 followed a double-blind reviewing process to make the review process as fair as possible, both reviewers’ and authors’ identities remain anonymous.We are delighted to deliver special thanks to IOP Publishing as our publication partner to publish the conference proceedings in JPCS. We would like to acknowledge all of those who supported AMSE 2021. The help and contribution of each individual and institution was instrumental in the success of the conference.
