Preface

Abstract

We are delighted to introduce the proceedings of The 5th International Scientific Conference on Advanced Engineering Technologies (ISC-AET). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and related critical consequences like travel restrictions, the health and safety of the persons who involved in ISC-AET 2020 have represented our priority. Therefore, the ISC-AET was held virtually on 18-19 August 2020, and we worked very hard to maintains its high standards and quality of keynotes, panels, presentations, and scientific discussions. The control location of this online event was at the Southern Technical University, Basrah, Iraq. Zoom meeting program has been used to deliver the maximum scientific and networking benefits to the researchers and attendees from different countries around the world.The ISC-AET 2020 has brought researchers, developers, practitioners, and leading experts around the world who are interested in the recent topics in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering; Mechanical, and Sustainable Engineering; Environmental and Civil Engineering; Oil, Gas, Chemical, and Petrochemical Engineering.The technical program of this conference consisted of 40 accepted full papers, including 20 papers presented presented in the oral presentation sessions (15 min with online Q&A and discussions) at the main conference tracks. The other 20 papers were presented as Video recording format (10 min) within the designed sessions.
