Abstract

Great honor to conduct 2020 International Conference on New Energy, Power and Environmental Engineering (NEPEE2020) to associate with science and technology in this rapidly evolving field of research and to promote contact between researchers, and technological needs for real advanced materials, new energy, energy source, power and environmental engineering. NEPEE2020 was organized by Advanced Science and Industry Research Center and Science and Engineering Research Center, Hong Kong. Scientific activities are intended valuable vehicles for the dissemination of research results on latest advances made in the areas of science, which give an excellent opportunity for the scientists and researchers around the world to have a common platform to exchange their findings and to discuss the developments and make a base for collaborations in the national and international level.NEPEE2020 was rescheduled to be held online via Tencent Meeting/VooV Meeting on December 21, 2020 due to pneumonia outbreak. All authors have chance to participate in academic exchange and sharing online. In the context of the normalization of the epidemic, NEPEE2020 online in this way can effectively guarantee safety, arouse the enthusiasm of participants, and effectively avoid the situation of being unable to attend the meeting due to the control of epidemic. It is for these reasons that we chose to hold the meeting online instead of being postponed.NEPEE2020 cover Opening ceremony online, Keynote Speeches, Oral Presentations and Poster Presentations from scientists, engineers working in similar areas to establish platform for collaborative research projects in these fields. In the first part, keynote speakers were allocated 40 minutes to deliver their speeches. Prof. Osman Adiguzel from Firat University, Turkey made keynote speech on Energy Dissipation in Transformation Cycles in Thermoelasticity and Superelasticity in Shape Memory Materials, and Prof. Tao Zhang from College of Resources and Environmental Sciences, China Agricultural University, China made keynote speech about Biomass Waste Valorization to Generate Modified Biochar to Recover Phosphorus from Animal Manure Wastewater. In the oral sessions, each author was given 10-15 minutes to present their papers, and 5-10 minutes for Q&A.List of NEPEE2020 Organization Committees, General Chairs, General Co-Chairs, Publication Chairs, Publication Co-Chairs, Technical Program Committees are available in this pdf.
