Abstract
This Special Issue presents peer-reviewed papers presented at the International Maritime and Port Technology and Development Conference (MTEC), and the International Conference on Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships (ICMASS), held jointly as MTEC/ICMASS 2019 in Trondheim, Norway, 13th - 14th November 2019. The International Maritime and Port Technology and Development Conference (MTEC) is arranged every second year and alternating between Singapore and Norway. The first International Conference on Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships (ICMASS) was arranged in 2018 in Busan, Korea.MTEC/ICMASS 2019 was organized by SINTEF Ocean and Department of Marine Technology, NTNU in Norway, and co-organized by Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), Singapore Maritime Institute (SMI), and Maritime Singapore. The International Network for Autonomous Ships (INAS) co-arranged the track on autonomous transport systems.
