Preface

Abstract

After successfully held for five consecutive year, the 2020 6th International Conference on Advances in Energy Resources and Environment Engineering (ICAESEE 2020) was successfully held during November 20-22, 2020 in Chongqing, China. ICAESEE 2020 is to bring together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of energy resources and environment engineering to a common forum. The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in energy resources and environment engineering and another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working all around the world. The conference will be held every year to make it an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences in energy resources and environment engineering and related areas.The conference model was divided into two sessions, including oral presentations and keynote speeches. In the first part, some scholars, whose submissions were selected as the excellent papers, were given 15 minutes to perform their oral presentations one by one. Then in the second part, keynote speakers were each allocated 30-45 minutes to hold their speeches. There were about 170 participants, including keynote speakers, invited speaker, committee members, session chairs, authors, presenters and listeners. We are greatly honored to have invited four industry elites to serve as our Co-Chairmen. The rest of the committee was composed from England, Italy, India, UK, Malaysia, Iran and other countries.In the keynote presentations part, Vice-president Mingzhou Qin, from Henan University, China invited to present his talk. His research area: Land change science, Natural resources science. In addition, we had Prof. Hua Wang from China Coal Research Institute CCRI to present his latest research. He devoted to Hydrogeology, Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Grouting Technology, Geophysical Prospecting and other related research areas. Distinguished Prof. Baoyu Gao, from Shandong University, China as our finale keynote speakers. His research area : Preparation and properties of new kinds of coagulant/flocculant and adsorbents, coagulation/flocculation and adsorption for water and wastewater, water and wastewater treatment technology.In the last part of the conference, all participants were invited to discuss and explore the academic issues after the presentations. The discussion was lasted for about 30-60 minutes. The conference provided a forum for discussing Energy Resources and Environment Engineering and in particular for promoting the interchange of novel ideas and the presentations of the latest developments in this field. This conference will also provide an ideal environment to develop new collaborations and meet experts on the fundamentals, applications, and products of the mentioned fields.We are glad to share with you that we received lots of submissions from the conference and we selected a bunch of high-quality papers and compiled them into the proceedings after rigorously reviewed them. These papers feature following topics but are not limited to: Energy Engineering and Energy Technology, Environmental Science and Environmental Engineering, Electricity Supply Systems, Exploration and Utilization of Resources and Sustainable Development, Energy Economy and Management and other related topics. All the papers have been through rigorous review and process to meet the requirements of International publication standard.Lastly, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Chairman, the distinguished keynote speakers, as well as all the participants. We also want to thank the publisher for publishing the proceedings. May the readers could enjoy the gain some valuable knowledge from the proceedings.
