Abstract
International Conference on Technology and Instrumentation in Particle Physics TIPP 2021TIPP 2020 was originally planned as a traditional in-person conference at the ski resort of Whistler, British Columbia, near Vancouver. After the Coronavirus epidemic forced the eleventh-hour postponement of the conference in 2020, IUPAP C11 encouraged us to resurrect the Vancouver TIPP as a virtual event a year later, in May 2021. While we still hope someday to welcome the community to our beautiful mountains, the virtual event was a much-needed opportunity to share and discuss updates in the field of detector technology.
