Abstract

The 1981 Electrical and Electronic Measurement and Test Instrument Conference (EEMTIC) was held in Ottawa, Ont., Canada, during September 22-24. This biennial sequence of Conferences is hereby continued, following the reestablishment of the Conference in 1979. Participation from many countries and enthusiastic response from registrants and exhibitors made EEMTIC'81 a success, despite the problems encountered in the publicity area due to the preceding mail strike in Canada. There were 54 papers, from authors all over the world, accepted for presentation at the Conference. As a new feature a Digest was published (IEEE Document 81 CH 1710-3) containing 3-4 page summaries of the Conference papers. The Conference is made possible only through the time spent and efforts made of the Steering Committee Members. Recognition is due to these volunteers and their supporting organizations.
