Preface

Abstract

Proceeding Young Scholar Symposium on Science Education and Environment (YSSSEE) 4-5 November 2019, Lampung, Indonesia Young Scholar Symposium on Science Education and Environment 2019 (YSSSEE 2019) is an annual symposium held by Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung. The first symposium is “Young Scholar Symposium on Transdisciplinary in Education and Environment (YSSTEE)” in 2018 in Bandar Lampung (Capital city of Lampung province) and the manuscripts were published in Journal of Physics: Conference Series Volume 1155. The theme of this conference is Science, Technology and Education: How Do They Solve the Environmental Issues? With the Focus and Scope of this research including (1) Physics; (2) Material Sciences; (3) Applied Physics; (4) Natural Sciences; (5) Sciences Education; (6) Mathematics; (7) Mathematics Education; and (8) Environmental Sciences.The keynote presentations are provided to talk the current issues in Education and Environment. The keynote speaker Hasan Said Tortop, Ph.D., editor in chief Journal for the Education of Gifted Young Scientists (JEGYS), Turkey, presents the study of Education model (Mentor and E-mentor) for gifted young scientists. Kittisak Jermsittiparsert, Ph.D., Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, presents the study of Higher Education as a Sustainable Development Goals. Ismail Suardi Wekke, STAIN Sorong, Indonesia, presents the study of University and Environmental Awareness. Dr. rer. Nat. Roniyus Marjunus, M.Si., Universitas Lampung, Indonesia presents the study about how to transform sand to gas sensor.We would like to thank to all of the participants attending this conference and also to committee for their contribution to this high-level conference and its overall success.
