Abstract

From June 24 to 26, 2005, the first Spain Italy Netherlands meeting on Game theory (SING 1) was held in Maastricht, The Netherlands. The meetings in this series—the second was held in Foggia, Italy, 2006 and the third in Madrid, Spain, 2007—are general meetings on game theory and its applications. The total number of submissions for this special issue was 30. These submissions were first screened by a small committee. On the basis of this screening procedure, ten papers were rejected without additional referee reports. Of the remaining papers, the present collection of eight papers was accepted after a standard referee procedure. Our special thanks go to Yolanda Paulissen for her assistance in the editorial work.
